(Beijing, April 18) the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 China Club Volleyball Tournament concluded its preliminary round matches today as Bayi finished atop in both men's and women's qualifications.

On the women's side, Tianjin, Jiangsu and Bayi all finished in two wins and one loss. Bayi tops the group thanks to score difference with Tianjin and Jiangsu placing second and third respectively. Liaoning has to concede the fourth spot with three losses.

On the men's side, Bayi also ranks first by clinching three victories. Shanghai, who beat Liaoning and Henan after losing to Bayi, is second, ahead of Liaoning (1W-1L) and Henan (3L).

In the semifinals to be held at the Capital Indoor Stadium tomorrow, Bayi meets Liaoning and Tianjin takes on Jiangsu in the women's group while Shanghai is against Liaoning and Bayi plays Henan.
